Institutional Sketch
Congregation Shaaray Tefila (West End Synagogue) was founded in 1845. During its first 35 years, it was an Orthodox congregation, then the congregation was Conservative for the next 15 years. Since 1895, it has been a Reform congregation.

Constitution and bylaws (1848-1869), Minute books (1845-1869), Board of Trustees Minutes (1835-1908), Minutes of Building Committee (1866-1903), Minutes of Sunday School Board (1896-1899), Minute book of the Electors of the Congregation (1847-1908), and Members Register (1879).
