Biographical Sketch

Wolfe Macht was born in Russia in 1890. He was ordained as a rabbi in 1918 at the Hebrew Union College in Cincinnati. Macht was rabbi at Congregation Rodef Sholom in Waco, Texas for over 33 years. Macht was a chaplain and was active in interfaith affairs. Wolfe Macht died in 1952.

Addresses, correspondence, manuscripts, reports, and sermons; together with materials concerning the Hebrew Union College and the National Conference of Christians and Jews, as well as materials pertaining to Congregation Rodef Sholom, Waco, Texas.
