Biographical Sketch

Rabbi Kerry M. Olitzky is the author of several publications on Jewish life and education, including Jewish Holidays: a Brief Introduction for Christians, The How-To Handbook for Jewish Living, and The Book of Proverbs. Ordained by Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in 1981, Olitzky served Congregation Beth Israel in West Hartford, Connecticut. He was the Dean of Adult Jewish Learning and Living and taught at HUC-JIR for fifteen years.

Research materials including correspondence, circulars, and excerpts on the history of synagogues in America, arranged alphabetically by state.
